Amel Guellaty
Amel Guellaty is a Tunisian filmmaker and photographer. She studied law at Sorbonne and worked with Olivier Assayas before directing her own films. Her short Black Mamba (2017) screened at over 60 festivals. Other works include Chitana (2021) and Girls Feels: Skin Deep (2022). Where the Wind Comes From (2025) is her debut feature, premiering at Sundance
Synopsis
Two friends embark on a road trip across Tunisia to join an art contest. Their journey becomes a free-spirited exploration of youth, creativity, and resilience.
