Synopsis

Set during a hunger strike in Egypt’s film industry, Yehia (played by Chahine himself) obsesses over Amr, a young actor, and Nadia, a woman he desires to work with. The film reflects Chahine’s autobiographical trilogy, exploring art, politics, and personal relationships.
