Dr. Resul Pookutty is an Academy Award-winning sound designer, editor and mixer, recognised as one of India’s leading figures in cinema sound. His groundbreaking work on 'Slumdog Millionaire' earned him the Oscar and BAFTA, bringing global attention to Indian sound craft. A Padma Shri recipient, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to cinema, he continues to collaborate across Indian and international industries, shaping landmark films and pushing technological and creative boundaries in audio storytelling. A passionate advocate for accessibility, education and innovation in cinema, he mentors emerging talent and contributes to several national film bodies.
Cuckoo Parameswaran is an award winning artiste whose grounding in performance was shaped and refined at the School of Drama. An accomplished actor, dancer, voice artist, and costume designer, she has built a distinctive space for herself across multiple creative disciplines. Her filmography spans acclaimed works such as 'Nizhalkuthu', 'Cotton Mary', 'Vanaprastham', 'Moonilonnu', 'Kazhakam', 'Sammohanam', 'Anantaram', 'Oridathu', and 'Thinkalazhcha Nalla Divasam' among others.
Ajoy C , better known as Ajoy Chandran is the Secretary of the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy and the Executive Director of its flagship film festivals; International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) and the International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK). Bridging creative practice with institutional leadership, Ajoy has made significant contributions to Kerala’s cultural and cinematic discourse.
For the past six years, he has served as the Member Secretary of the juries for the Kerala State Film Awards, Kerala State Television Awards, J. C. Daniel Award, and Television Lifetime Achievement Award. He holds the additional charge of Secretary of the Kerala Cultural Activists Welfare Fund Board. He is the Convenor of the Suryanarayana Guru Cultural Complex, the first among the 14 complexes being established across Kerala to facilitate events spanning art, literature, theatre, performing arts, and heritage. He also serves as the Convenor of the Kerala State Film Policy Drafting Committee.
Ajoy is also a frequent speaker at major cultural and academic forums such as the Kerala Literature Festival, Indian Library Congress, and ARCUREA 2024, where he continues to engage in discussions on cinema, culture, and film preservation. He was the Curator of the Sreenarayana Guru Literary Festival organised by the Sreenarayana Guru Open University.
As a lyricist, his work spans Malayalam films such as Pedithondan, You Can Do, Ulta, and Sidharthan Enna Njan. His screenwriting credits include acclaimed documentaries such as State Film Awards: 40 Years, Aval Vellithirayil, and Ravi: Kalayum Jeevithavum, which chronicles the life of producer K. Ravindranathan Nair.
Golda Sellam is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of consulting experience in the culture and audio-visual sectors. As a certified expert for international agencies like OIF, ACP Fund, Europe Creative Media, CFI, and MAE, she specialises in guiding Film/TV producers in developing and financing projects on a global scale—focusing on Asia, Africa, and Europe. Golda's influence extends to coaching talents and creative entrepreneurs through all stages of production, contributing to the success of over 150 productions.
